Honey Lemon Tea
This 3-ingredient tea has been given to me by my mother since I was a young child. My favorite part of being sick was drinking hot honey lemon tea straight out of our pyrex measuring cups. Now when my own children are not feeling well I make up a big batch of this tea. They love it. Since we have reached sick season we have been drinking a lot of it. It is so easy and really quite tasty. All you need is hot water, fresh lemons, and raw honey.
Ingredients: (serves 2)
2 cups boiling water
1 lemon, juiced
3 heaping Tbsp raw honey (adjust this to taste. sometimes I put less, sometimes much more depending on how acidic my lemon is. Usually it's equal parts lemon juice, equal parts honey)
Boil water in tea kettle. Place lemon juice in empty pyrex, add honey, pour in boiling water. Stir until all the honey is dissolved. Enjoy!
